Jacobs is seeking a Senior Ecologist to join the UK Ecology Team on a nationwide basis across multiple offices. The role combines desk and site-based work, delivering high-quality ecological input on major infrastructure projects and shaping environmental strategy for clients.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, design monitoring programmes, mentor others, and contribute to professional development pathways within a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Current and full driving licence.
• Technical specialism in terrestrial ecology; ability to pick up other ecological interests quickly.

Responsibilities

• Delivering challenging, diverse infrastructure projects with terrestrial ecology input.
• Designing ecological monitoring programmes and leading survey teams.
• Providing expert ecological advice to clients and stakeholders; ensuring high-quality data collection.
