Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Ecologist across the UK to join a dynamic, forward-thinking ecology team. You will contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects, conduct terrestrial surveys, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across varied sites.

Qualifications

• Background in terrestrial ecology with significant years of relevant industry experience.
• Full membership of a professional body (or ability to obtain membership).
• Experience leading ecological inputs on medium-large scale projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ecological inputs on infrastructure projects including surveys and reporting.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to ensure terrestrial ecology requirements are met.
• Design and oversee ecological monitoring programmes and data collection.
• Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders and mentor teammates.
