Job summary

Assystem is a leading nuclear engineering group with a long track record in the UK, currently supporting decommissioning and new build projects. The Senior EC&I Engineer role is based in Whitehaven and involves delivering electrical and control system design packages in a safety‑critical environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the RE and Area Engineering Manager to produce specifications, drawings and analyses, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements while

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building electrical services design.
• Proficiency in CDM Regulation application.
• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management.

Responsibilities

• Support EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager in delivering design.
• Produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification).
• Satisfy legal and functional requirements along with performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
