Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to join our Glasgow team, delivering electrical and instrumentation design within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

You will support the EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager, producing design work packages, ensuring compliance with safety and performance targets while working in a hybrid setup with 1–2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building electrical services design.
• Proficiency in CDM Regulation application.
• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager in the delivery of design.
• Produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment of engineering).
• Satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality.
