Job summary

Morson Talent in the UK is seeking a Senior EC&I Engineer to lead and deliver electrical, control and instrumentation activities on complex nuclear projects from Warrington with hybrid and flexible working.

You will collaborate across disciplines, ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance, support safety assessments, and provide input to the Project Manager throughout the lifecycle. The role offers a permanent contract, a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer

Location: Warrington (with hybrid and flexible working options)

Hours: 37 per week

As a Senior EC&I Engineer, youll contribute directly to projects that support the decommissioning of redundant facilities, the Continuous at Sea Deterrent, and the future of low-carbon energy generation. Your role will be instrumental in delivering engineering excellence, upholding safety, and ensuring technical integrity across the project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working on multidisciplinary engineering projects


• A track record of working collaboratively across functions and disciplines


• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


• Sound technical knowledge and experience in EC&I design and analysis within a highly regulated environment

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline


• Chartered or working towards Chartered status is advantageous
