Job summary

Assystem is seeking an EC&I Engineer in Warrington to contribute to complex, regulated nuclear projects. The role covers end-to-end design delivery, safety compliance, and rigorous documentation within tight timelines and budgets.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and apply high standards of quality in every design package. The ideal candidate will have CE&I project delivery experience, knowledge of CDM and IET Wiring Regulations, and a degree in Electrical Engineering or related

Qualifications

• Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.
• Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services.
• Competent in the application of CDM Regulations.
• Competent in the application of IET Wiring Regulations.
• Experience of space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Ability to work both as part of an integrated delivery team and independently, often within restrictive time constraints.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels.
• Degree qualified in an appropriate discipline.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality engineering design work packages, including specifications, drawings, calculations, analyses, assessments, and verification documentation.
• Deliver designs that meet legal, regulatory, functional, and performance requirements.
• Ensure engineering outputs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, compliant, and practical engineering solutions.
• Support the successful delivery of projects by producing clear, accurate, and buildable design documentation.
