Job summary

Scantec Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer for nuclear-related projects. This position involves delivering design and technical solutions with a focus on compliance with nuclear standards.

The role requires a degree in engineering, a minimum of 8 years of experience in nuclear or regulated projects, and eligibility for SC clearance. You will work in a hybrid model, spending 2 days on-site and the rest remotely, focusing on key nuclear programmes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years' EC&I engineering experience on nuclear or similarly regulated projects.
• Proven track record delivering electrical design on complex programmes.
• Strong understanding of UK legislation and standards for nuclear applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical, control and instrumentation design across nuclear projects.
• Produce technical documentation including SLDs, cable schedules, equipment specifications.
• Conduct Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.
