Assystem is leading the design of Electrical Systems for a revolutionary SMR nuclear power plant. You will drive system architecture, select equipment, and work with cross‑functional teams to deliver a fully verified power station.

Join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit to apply structured systems engineering, perform modeling and testing, and support compliance and knowledge sharing across projects in the UK. Hybrid work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define & Manage Requirements – review, refine and document electrical requirements with traceability.
• Design, Analyze & Verify – develop designs, perform modeling and verify performance.
• Ensure Compliance & Quality – support regulatory and safety standards and reviews.
• Support Strategy & Risk Management – identify risks and mitigation actions.
• Develop & Share Knowledge – create training materials and share best practices.
• Collaborate & Represent – engage with regulators, customers, and IPTs.
