Assystem invites you to join the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit in the UK. You will provide technical expertise for the electrical systems of the SMR nuclear power plant, driving complete design from system architecture to equipment selection and final verified design.

Your mission includes translating high-level requirements into validated designs, defining interfaces, and collaborating with verification teams to ensure compliance. UK travel and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related subject.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK.
• BPSS and SC security clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Review high level electrical requirements and testability.
• Translate requirements into validated electrical designs.
• Capture design constraints and quality attributes for electrical systems.
• Define interfaces and manage requirements with project processes (e.g., IBM DOORS).
• Design and implement electrical designs to meet inputs.
• Work with Verification to define verification activities.
• Analyse designs with modelling and simulation to prove compliance.
• Support capacity planning and long-term team goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks.
• Represent electrical engineering in meetings and IPTs.
