Storal Plumtree Nursery is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) to lead the room, deliver high‑quality care and supervise a small team of practitioners in a play‑based setting.
You will apply EYFS knowledge, ensure safeguarding, complete records, and work with families to support child development in a warm, inclusive environment. This role offers a competitive salary, a £500 Welcome Bonus and travel allowance where applicable.
Nursery: Children 1st Plumtree Nursery School, Station Road, Plumtree, Nottingham NG12 5NA. Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Competitive salary plus £500 Welcome Bonus. Benefits: Performance related bonus, 50% childcare discount and much much more.
Travel Allowance. We offer a travel allowance of up to £50 per month for employees who live 5 miles or more from the nursery, or who need to travel 1 mile or more using public transport, calculated based on days worked.

Day to day, you will deliver care to the children whilst also supervising your team. You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or, creating more stimulating experiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.
