Job summary

Storal in Urmston is seeking a Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) to lead care and learning for our young children. You will supervise the room, ensure safe, engaging play and maintain records, while collaborating with the management team.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) based at Old Crofts Bank, with an attractive welcome bonus of £500 and up to £13.75 per hour. A Level 3+ EY qualification and EYFS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
• Proven experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner).
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to the children while supervising your team.
• Identify areas for improvement in learning and teaching techniques or in creating more stimulating experiences and environments.
• Embrace inclusivity to meet the individual needs of everyone in your room.
• As the Senior Early Years Educator, responsible for ensuring all record-keeping requirements are completed and for conducting team appraisals.

The Team

You’ll be joining Old Crofts Bank team of Early years Educators, who have an incredibly important job of supporting children’s development. You’ll be a key part of every child’s journey, keeping our children safe, loved and inspired through play-based learning.

How you’ll spend your time here

Day to day, you willdeliver care to the children whilst alsosupervising your team.

You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates tolearning and teaching techniques or,creating morestimulatingexperiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

You’ll beresponsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years
