Job summary

Storal Old Crofts Bank Nursery in Urmston, Manchester is seeking a caring Early Years practitioner to join our team. You will plan activities, observe progress and support personal care while applying the Storal curriculum in daily play-based learning.

You’ll engage with families to strengthen learning in everyday moments, ensuring a warm, nurturing environment that supports children to build confidence, resilience and readiness for school.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups in Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and observe progress for each child
• Manage personal care in line with the Storal curriculum
• Engage with mealtimes and daily transitions to support development
• Bond with children and families through meaningful moments
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy in learning through play-based activities

Hours: Full time and part Time hours available, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £13.30 an hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
