Job summary

Storal is recruiting for a Senior Early Years Educator / Nursery Room Leader at Farley Salisbury Outdoor Nursery, Wiltshire. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality play-based learning in an outdoor setting, ensuring safety and development.

You will lead a team, uphold EYFS standards, and coordinate with management to ensure smooth daily operations while promoting inclusive practices and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 or higher in early years education.
• Proven experience as an Early Years Educator.
• Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication with children and adults.
• Demonstrates Storal values of responsibility and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to children while supervising the team.
• Identify improvements in learning techniques and experiences.
• Ensure inclusivity and meet individual needs in the room.
• Maintain records and conduct team appraisals.
• Collaborate with room leads and management for nursery operations.

Nursery: Farley Salisbury Nursery School, Church Road, Farley, Wiltshire, SP5 1AH
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Salary: Up to £14.68 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

How you’ll spend your time here

Day to day, you willdeliver care to the children whilst alsosupervising your team.

You’ll identify areas for improvements whether that relates tolearning and teaching techniques orcreating morestimulatingexperiences and environments. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your room are met.

You’ll beresponsible for ensuring all record keeping requirements are regularly completed, as well as conducting your team appraisals. As the Senior Early Years Educator (Nursery Room Leader) you will work in partnership with other Room Leads and the management team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• A Level 3 or above qualification within early years

• Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner)

• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS

• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
