Job summary

Confidential in Newbury (Hybrid 3 days in office) is recruiting a Senior E-Commerce & Marketing Executive for a 12‑month maternity cover. You will own digital commerce and consumer marketing across a portfolio of brands, delivering campaigns and driving online performance.

The role is hands‑on, requires Shopify and Klaviyo expertise, SEO knowledge, and a track record in FMCG. You will coordinate agencies, manage content, and collaborate across teams to grow sales and brand impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on e-commerce and digital marketing experience.
• Experience in food and drink FMCG sector.
• Proficiency with Shopify and Klaviyo for ecommerce and email marketing.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, SEO and digital marketing.
• Experience briefing and managing creative/content development.
• Confidence in managing external agencies and commercial partners.
• Strong copywriting for email campaigns and digital content.
• Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows.
• Experience with retailer digital media platforms (e.g., Citrus) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver digital commerce and consumer marketing plans across a portfolio of consumer brands.
• Manage and develop Shopify websites including content, merchandising and ongoing development.
• Plan, create and deliver email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo.
• Manage SEO activity with an external agency.
• Coordinate Amazon content, optimisation and advertising with agency partners.
• Manage retailer and wholesaler digital media activity across platforms.
• Plan and execute consumer marketing campaigns, brand collaborations and promotions.
• Brief and manage creative agencies and designers on artwork/content.
• Manage paid social campaigns and coordinate organic social media activity.
• Liaise with the e-commerce fulfilment partner and monitor stock levels.
• Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve marketing workflows.
