Job summary

Laundryheap in London is seeking a Senior Associate – Driver Operations & Fleet to own and grow the UK driver network. You’ll manage onboarding, engagement, retention and fleet performance across the driver journey, with a focus on the London e-bike fleet.

You will work with Operations, Customer Service, Product and Finance to resolve driver questions, improve processes, and optimise vendor relationships while building scalable, data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in logistics, last-mile delivery, gig economy or fleet operations.
• Experience working with a self-employed, contractor or gig workforce.
• A good understanding of data and confidence using Excel, Google Sheets and dashboards.
• Experience working with vendors and negotiating rates or SLAs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Good organisational skills and the confidence to take ownership of work from start to finish.
• The right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
• Experience using Fountain ATS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Driver Acquisition & Onboarding: build a pipeline of driver partners, publish opportunities, manage Fountain ATS, onboard new partners, verify documentation.
• Driver Quality, Engagement & Retention: monitor driver quality and retention, provide guidance, create engagement initiatives, support off-boarding.
• Vendor & Fleet Management: build relationships with van/bike vendors, source capacity, negotiate rates/SLAs, monitor vehicle documentation and costs.
• Growing Our London E-bike Fleet: assist in growing the London e-bike fleet, manage insurance, charging, maintenance, utilisation, and safety.
• Working Across the Business: collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Product and Finance to resolve driver questions, incidents and escalations, and feedback.
