Job summary

Laundryheap is seeking an Operations Specialist to strengthen and grow our UK delivery network, including London e‑bike operations. You will own the driver journey from onboarding to retention, work with external vendors and continuously optimise logistics capacity across the network.

In this role you’ll analyse driver performance and engagement, resolve issues, and collaborate with Product and Finance to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations. A fast‑paced, data‑driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, last‑mile delivery, gig economy, driver operations or similar operational environments.
• Experience working with a self‑employed, contractor or gig workforce.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence using Excel, Google Sheets and operational dashboards.
• Experience working with external vendors and supporting negotiations around rates or SLAs.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to independently own work from start to finish.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver partners across the UK.
• Publish and refresh driver opportunities across relevant channels and work towards weekly supply targets.
• Manage driver applications through Fountain ATS, ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Conduct welcome and onboarding calls with new driver partners.
• Verify and maintain required documentation (Right to Work, licences, insurance, MOT, vehicle documents).
• Monitor driver performance, engagement and retention across the network.
• Identify opportunities to improve driver experience and retention.
• Build and maintain relationships with logistics vendors and coordinate additional capacity.
• Support London e-bike operations and related training with vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Product and Finance to keep delivery operations running smoothly.
• Resolve driver incidents and escalations; support driver payments and inquiries.
• Use data to understand network performance and drive improvements.
• Develop repeatable processes to scale logistics operations.
• Monitor vendor performance against service standards and SLAs.
