Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an engineer to join our drainage national team to deliver design packages and lead multi-disciplinary projects involving SUDS. You will develop digital processes to enhance the engineering design, mentor graduates, and liaise with clients across water, local authorities and developers.

The role emphasizes Chartered status, experience in drainage design, and ability to present technical solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM.
Experience in drainage design including SUDS.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling tools.
Knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety standards.
Proven track record coordinating multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

Producing drainage infrastructure design packages.
Assisting drainage engineers in developing drainage design solutions on multi-disciplinary projects.
Compliance with the CDM Regulations and safety and environmental requirements.
Project and design management of schemes, delivering projects to time and to budget.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to market AtkinsRéalis’ SUDS expertise to wide variety of clients.
Prepare financial and technical proposals for project opportunities.
Supervision, management and technical development of junior members of the team.
Co-ordination with other disciplines working on the projects and site team.
