Job summary

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, mentoring graduates and liaising with clients to provide technical excellence and innovative digital approaches.

The role offers opportunities to develop into a regional surface water lead, with a focus on design quality, regulatory compliance and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Attained chartered status (ICE or CIWEM).
• Experience in drainage design including SUDS.
• Competence in AutoCAD and Hydraulic modelling – Microdrainage/Civils 3D preferred.
• Working knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
• Proven track record delivering technically excellent projects on time and budget.
• First class written and oral communication skills.
• A natural curiosity for developing innovative, sustainable and cost effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Producing drainage infrastructure design packages.
• Assisting drainage engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Compliance with CDM Regulations and safety/environmental requirements.
• Project and design management delivering on time and to budget.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on SUDS to clients.
• Prepare financial and technical proposals for opportunities.
• Supervision and development of junior team members.
• Coordination with other disciplines and site team.
