AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Drainage Design Specialist to join our nationwide teams working on highway, rail, private development and water projects across the UK. You will lead drainage design from concept to construction, develop hydraulic models, and support BIM integration while mentoring junior staff.

You will contribute to bid activity, ensure quality procedures are followed, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver Smarter, Faster and More Reliable outcomes for clients.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) and current drainage legislation/guidance.
• Experience using drainage modelling software such as Causeway Flow.
• Knowledge of drainage design standards including CIRIA SuDS Manual and relevant highway drainage standards.
• Mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, calculations and drawings.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Undertaking drainage designs from concept to detailed design and construction, as stand‑alone projects or part of multi‑disciplinary schemes.
• Prepare drainage strategies, calculations, reports and technical drawings.
• Develop hydraulic models using software such as Causeway Flow.
• Support multidisciplinary infrastructure, transportation and development projects.
• Promote development of digital solutions in drainage design, including BIM integration.
• Mentor and check drainage designs, models, calculations and drawings to standards.
