Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is a leading engineering services firm in the UK, shaping surface water management within green-blue infrastructure and masterplanning. You will join a cross-disciplinary national team to work with water companies, local authorities, highways and rail clients on major projects, developing digital methods and mentoring junior engineers.

You will help deliver drainage design packages, coordinate multi-disciplinary schemes, and contribute to proposals and client engagement while

Qualifications

• Chartered status (ICE or CIWEM).
• Experience in drainage design including SUDS.
• Competence in AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling (Microdrainage and/or Civils 3D).
• Working knowledge of the CDM Regulations.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and to budget.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Curiosity for innovative, sustainable, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Producing drainage infrastructure design packages.
• Assisting drainage engineers in developing drainage design solutions on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Compliance with CDM Regulations and safety/environmental requirements.
• Project and design management of schemes, delivering on time and within budget.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to market AtkinsRéalis’ SUDS expertise.
• Prepare financial and technical proposals for project opportunities.
• Supervision and development of junior team members.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines and site teams.
