AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Drainage Design Specialist to join our UK teams. You will undertake drainage designs from concept to detailed design and construction, developing hydraulic models and contributing to BIM-enabled digital solutions for infrastructure, transportation and development projects across the UK.

The role emphasises mentoring junior staff, adhering to drainage standards (CIRIA SuDS), and delivering high-quality technical outputs while managing tasks within programme and budget.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems and current drainage legislation and guidance.
• Experience using drainage modelling software such as Causeway Flow.
• Knowledge of drainage design standards including CIRIA SuDS Manual, Design and Construction Guidance and relevant highway drainage standards.
• Mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, calculations and drawings.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Undertaking drainage designs from concept to detailed design and construction, as stand-alone projects or as part of larger multi-disciplinary schemes.
• Prepare drainage strategies, calculations, reports and technical drawings in accordance with relevant standards and guidance.
• Develop hydraulic models using software such as Causeway Flow.
• Support the delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure, transportation and development projects.
• Promoting development of digital solutions in drainage design including full integration of designs within the BIM environment.
• Assisting and checking the production of drainage designs, models, calculations and drawings to relevant standards.
