Artificial is building the next generation of technology for the specialty (re)insurance market. We seek a senior technical writer to own the documentation strategy, governance and tooling, unifying client‑facing guides, internal docs, and API references.

You’ll shape how engineers, product managers and brokers access information and drive release‑ready content. You will lead docs‑as‑code workflows, collaborate with Integrations and product teams, and mentor others while delivering high‑quality,

Qualifications

• Six-plus years in technical writing or documentation engineering.
• Experience producing end-user product docs plus developer/API guides.
• Hands-on with docs-as-code workflows (Git, CI/CD).
• Portfolio showing ability to clarify complex technical material for diverse readers.
• Comfort in fast-paced tech environments and ambiguity.
• Ability to read code and pull requests to identify documentation needs.

Responsibilities

• Own client-facing product documentation end‑to‑end: strategy, IA, standards and tooling.
• Manage internal documentation backlog and triage gaps, routing to authors and ensuring completion.
• Steward internal docs site and public API docs: set standards and keep publishing pipelines healthy.
• Interview engineers to demystify features for non-technical readers.
• Review changes for duplication, misplacement and clarity before publish.
• Write and maintain high‑value core product guides and release notes.
• Build and run the docs toolchain, including docs-as-code workflows and CI.
• Design AI-assisted authoring pipelines to improve quality and throughput.
• Create templates and processes enabling PMs and engineers to contribute content.
