Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Belfast (UK) seeks a Senior Consultant/Document Controller to lead CDE setup and information management on major projects. You will drive discovery, configure metadata, manage users and security, and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 principles.

BIM context and Power BI reporting will be routine. Ideal candidates have 3+ years as a Document Controller, familiarity with BIM, and hands-on experience with CDE tools such as Aconex, Forma, ViewPoint or Asite.

Qualifications

Experience as Document Controller with 3+ years.
Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Information Management and Document Control.
Experience using Power BI to extract, analyse, and report on data from the CDE.
Understanding of ISO 19650 standards (Part 2) and its impact on Information Management.

Responsibilities

CDE implementation: contributing to discovery sessions and configuring metadata, permissions, folders and workflows.
User management: create accounts, invite users and maintain security groups.
Develop project information standards and naming conventions for CDE.
Configure and manage CDE to support evolving teams and processes.
Quality assurance: monitor document compliance through workflows.
Track workflow progress and resolve blockers in reviews.
Provide regular progress reports and ad-hoc data requests.
System compliance: audits of file naming and access, and stakeholder reporting.
Act as the main point of contact for CDE queries and issues.
