Job summary

ME Engineers seeks a Senior Document Controller in London to manage document control for major projects. You will work closely with engineering staff, support bid-to-live processes and maintain robust data environments.

You will lead with accuracy, oversee QA adherence and ensure timely delivery of project information across UK offices, collaborating with BIM and project leads to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in construction industry document control systems: ACC, Viewpoint, Asite, Livelink, Conject, ME FTP site Egnyte, Aconex, 4-Projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and record bid process through to live project.
• Ensure initial documentation is available for new projects (PQPs, project protocols).
• Liaise with ME Project Lead and BIM Manager to establish deadlines and protocols.
• Initiate project kick-off meetings and provide PQPs.
• Establish project protocols with external Document Controllers.
• Manage project Common Data Environments and document issuance/recording.
• Ensure latest Design Team information is available to ME team.
• Track, report and manage workflows (RFIs, technical subs, comments) and responses.
• Return of comments/approvals on behalf of ME Design Team.
• Provide regular workflow status reports.
• Issue ME model files via ACC or similar, initiate ME delivery meetings.
• Record and maintain ME electronic project folders; archive completed folders.
• Assist QA system implementation and day-to-day processes for HS&E, ISO 9001.
