Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Document Controller to manage project information within a Common Data Environment, ensuring accuracy, security, and governance across UK projects.

You will lead document workflows, approvals, and metadata administration while upholding GDPR and information security standards. The role emphasizes BIM-enabled workflows, cross-team collaboration, and robust data management practices to support complex energy infrastructure delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in document control and strong administrative and technical capabilities.
• Expertise in SharePoint including site structure, navigation, permissions, workflows, and automation.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) including approvals management, transmittals and metadata administration.
• Proficiency in document management systems and electronic transmittals.
• Understanding of ISO 19650-2 and BIM-enabled environments.
• Familiarity with engineering or construction project environments.
• Strong IT skills including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Flexible and proactive, able to adapt to new systems and evolving project needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Master Information Delivery Plan and ensure information is accurate and accessible across projects.
• Oversee document approvals within SharePoint and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Ensure project information is properly controlled and up to date.
• Handle sensitive information with care, ensuring GDPR and regulatory compliance.
• Support Freedom of Information requests and promote best practices in digital engineering and BIM.
