Fitch Ratings seeks a Senior Director of Engineering to lead four full‑stack teams powering our Corporates, Financial Institutions & Sovereigns analytics. You will champion bold architectural decisions, foster a culture of innovation, and drive strategic outcomes across our global platforms.

You will mentor leaders, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and guide modernization efforts while scaling production‑grade systems and AI‑enabled capabilities that underpin critical financial intelligence

Qualifications

• 18+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with senior tech leadership roles.
• Proven multi-team leadership across full-stack disciplines.
• Deep technical credibility with modern software architectures and production delivery.
• Full-stack expertise with React, Java, Python in production on AWS/Azure.
• Bias for experimentation and bold architectural decisions.
• Modernization and greenfield experience across platforms.
• People leadership and talent development across engineers and leads.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management and strategic alignment.
• Executive communication translating bold technical vision for diverse audiences.
• Education: degree in CS/SE/ML or related field (Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD).
