Qualifications

• 18+ years of hands-on software engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven multi-team leadership and a track record building high-performing teams.
• Deep technical credibility in modern software architecture and production delivery.
• Full-stack tech with React/Java/Python in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Bias for experimentation, innovation, and bold architectural decisions.
• Modernization and greenfield experience across legacy and new platforms.
• People development and attracting engineering talent.
• Cross-functional stakeholder management and executive visibility.
• Excellent executive communication and influencing skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in relevant field or equivalent impact.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction, execution, and culture of four engineering teams.
• Set a bold technical vision and reimagine platforms to enable Fitch's analytical work.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team leads and engineers across disciplines.
• Oversee lifecycle of applications and services across Corporates, FI, and Sovereigns.
