Job summary

Fitch Ratings seeks an AI data enablement leader to join the Chief Data Office in London or New York, shaping data and AI strategy and delivering enterprise data capabilities for AI-ready operations.

Reporting to the CDO, you will lead across CDO teams, Emerging Technology, and business AI teams, driving strategic AI initiatives and governance for scalable, secure AI-enabled data programs.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of data and AI leadership experience.
• Experience designing AI-ready enterprise data capabilities including semantic layers, knowledge graphs and ontologies.
• Strong practical knowledge of modern AI technologies and architectures (generative AI, large language models, retrieval approaches, agents).
• Deep understanding of enterprise data capabilities including data platforms, metadata, governance and modern data architecture.
• Ability to translate AI use cases and emerging technologies into enterprise data and operating-model strategies and requirements.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders and drive execution across organizational boundaries.
• Strong strategic, analytical and communication skills with technical depth to engage credibly with technical partners and executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the CDO's AI data enablement strategy and roadmap, guiding how enterprise data evolves to support Fitch's AI ambitions.
• Define and advance Fitch's approach to AI-ready data with patterns enabling trusted, accessible AI data.
• Translate enterprise AI needs into data requirements and priorities across CDO, Emerging Technology, software and business AI teams.
• Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI across CDO data capabilities and processes.
• Lead experimentation with emerging AI and data technologies from proof of concept to scalable adoption.
• Serve as AI SME and senior advisor within the CDO, translating developments into practical implications and recommendations.
• Partner with Governance, Emerging Technology, Enterprise Architecture and Information Security to address governance, security and IP requirements.
• Own outcomes and execution of the CDO's AI data enablement agenda with measurable objectives and clear progress visibility.
