Maxim Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Cost Management in Birmingham to lead major infrastructure commissions across rail, highways, energy and water. The role involves steering cost management, commercial control and project governance for high-profile UK projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive infrastructure cost management and quantity surveying experience, with leadership capability to grow the Birmingham team and deliver on multiple commissions

Qualifikationen

• Significant cost management and quantity surveying experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC and other major construction contracts.
• Strong cost planning, cost control, benchmarking and commercial management.
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and lead teams.

Aufgaben

• Lead the delivery of cost management services across multiple major infrastructure commissions.
• Manage and develop Cost Managers and other members of the project team.
• Provide technical leadership, quality assurance and commercial oversight.
• Build strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Support business development, bids and account management activities.
• Monitor project cost performance, risks and commercial outcomes.
• Develop cost management processes, benchmarking and reporting capabilities.
• Work closely with project controls, engineering and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support recruitment and team growth.
• Promote continuous improvement and high standards of client service.
