Job summary

Collinson is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the design, reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of our production platform. You will lead a multi-region AWS environment running Kubernetes and serverless workloads, setting technical direction and shaping platform standards.

You'll mentor a team of engineers, own SLAs, champion DevEx, and drive AI-assisted operations across CI/CD, IaC, and runbooks to improve resilience and developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise with AWS at scale and multi-region deployments.
• Experience running production Kubernetes-based platforms and serverless stacks.
• Strong IaC discipline and automation focus for fast, secure deployments.
• Proven ability to design and maintain reliable, observable systems.
• Leadership experience mentoring and growing DevOps engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end reliability, security posture, and performance of production platform.
• Manage zero-downtime deployments and traffic management (blue/green, canary).
• Define and enforce platform security, IAM, KMS, secrets, and PCI DSS/CIS controls.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive cost visibility, rightsizing, tagging, and architectural decisions.
