Job summary

SBS is seeking a DevOps Engineer to operate across Digital Engagement products and the SBS AI Platform. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, automation, and security in a regulated industry, with hands-on work to improve developer productivity and platform resilience.

You will design cloud and containerized infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and advance IaC, observability, and deployment tooling in close collaboration with engineers and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or similar.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Solid scripting/programming skills (Python/Go/JavaScript).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve cloud and containerized infrastructure for both product groups.
• Define, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reliability.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, and platform engineering practices.
• Support Kubernetes-based workloads and high-availability services with resilience.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management practices.
• Collaborate with engineers across domains to troubleshoot production issues.
• Shape infrastructure strategy, security posture, and deployment standards.
• Investigate and introduce new tools to improve efficiency and observability.
