Job summary

Collinson Group is seeking a Lead Data Analytics Engineer to advance Enterprise Data Modelling, Analytics Automation and Engineering Empowerment across Global Analytics. You will translate strategy into technical direction and reusable capabilities while enabling squads to deliver trusted data products.

In this senior role, you will mentor engineers, drive modernisation, and shape the technical roadmap with Head of Analytics Engineering.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on Analytics Engineering/Data Engineering experience with deep expertise in data modelling, Snowflake, dbt and SQL.
Proven experience building automation, reusable engineering frameworks and scalable analytical architectures.
Strong technical leadership experience, including influencing multiple teams, solving complex engineering challenges and mentoring senior engineers.
Experience applying GenAI, LLMs, AI agents or Snowflake Cortex to engineering automation.
A hands-on, outcome-driven engineering leader who leads from the front by designing, building, and delivering solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise approach to analytical data modelling across data products.
Drive Analytics Automation and AI initiatives to improve tooling, testing, deployment, and observability.
Create frameworks and reusable components to accelerate squads and improve developer experience.
Provide technical leadership and shape the roadmap for Analytics Engineering at scale.
