Job summary

Collinson, operator of Priority Pass, seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the design, reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of our production platform—a zero-downtime, multi-region AWS environment with Kubernetes, serverless workloads, and centralized AI enablement layers at scale.

This hands-on leadership role will architect complex infrastructure, mentor engineers, own platform SLAs, and drive resilience, cost control, and secure decisions across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Deep AWS expertise at scale across multi-region environments.
• Proven ownership of production-grade EKS platforms and zero-downtime deployments.
• IaC standards and automation to improve developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership: reliability, stability, and performance of production platform.
• Zero-Downtime Operations with multi-region deployments and blue/green/canary strategies.
• Security & Compliance across IAM, KMS, secrets, PCI DSS v4, CIS Benchmarks.
• DR & Business Continuity planning and automation.
• TCO & Cost Management with tagging and right-sizing.
• Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD standards (Terraform, Terragrunt).
• Observability strategy with Datadog; define SLOs, dashboards, alerts.
• Team Leadership: mentor DevOps engineers and grow talent.
• AI & Automation: lead AI-assisted operations in CI/CD and runbooks.
