Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead design, automation, and optimisation of cloud and on‑prem environments. You will enhance CI/CD maturity, observability, and environment automation, partnering with developers, QA and operations to modernise deployments and ensure secure, scalable software delivery.

The role requires extensive AWS experience, IaC expertise (Terraform, CDK), and strong knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
Extensive DevOps experience with AWS cloud services.
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK).
Knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
Experience in automation tooling (GitLab/Jenkins/Argo CD).
Linux and Windows Server experience.
Familiarity with security best practices and Agile delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code to automate resource deployment.
Lead automation of development, testing, and production delivery across CI/CD pipelines.
Engineer CI/CD and observability tooling to support best‑practice deployment.
Improve production stability and resiliency through monitoring and optimization.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for seamless deployments.
Architect and support microservices with containers and serverless tech.
Drive automation of environment management, logging, and monitoring.
