Job summary

TP ICAP Group Services Ltd in Belfast is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead modernization of automation across development, testing and production delivery. You will design strategy and mentor teams globally, blending hands-on coding with leadership to raise velocity and resilience.

The role focuses on CI/CD adoption, cloud-native tooling (AWS), observability, and scalable environments, with an emphasis on velocity, quality and time-to-market across TP ICAP platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science.
• 5–10+ years leading DevOps in financial or technology environments.
• Proven track record delivering transformation programs for DevOps and SDLC automation.
• Measurable improvements from DevOps investments and a metrics-driven approach.
• Deep experience with AWS Cloud and other cloud platforms.
• Experience automating testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with SAFe Agile and Lean Delivery principles.
• Knowledge of containerisation and deploying with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Pipelines-as-code and observability with Grafana/Prometheus/CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design DevOps modernization and adoption strategy.
• Engineer internal tooling to automate software development, testing and deployment.
• Fully automate release pipelines including testing.
• Improve production stability and observability.
• Support application teams with a consistent toolset for cloud/on‑prem environments.
• Engage with vendors to accelerate tool adoption at scale.
• Architect solutions using containers and serverless tech where appropriate.
• Drive environment management, logging and monitoring.
