Job summary

Informa TechTarget is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our Windows-based infrastructure running in AWS. The role emphasizes operational excellence, security, automation, and developer enablement, partnering with product engineering to ensure secure, reliable deployments.

You will lead patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening, while building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience managing Windows Server workloads in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Windows Server environments in AWS (EC2).
• Patch, vulnerability management, and system hardening across Windows workloads.
• Monitor security events and remediate risks with security teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Develop automation with PowerShell to reduce manual toil.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Collaborate with product engineering to troubleshoot issues.
• Support releases and ensure smooth deployment processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response post-mortems.
• Drive long-term improvements in reliability and security.
