Job summary

Informa TechTarget in London is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve Windows-based infrastructure in AWS. You’ll drive CI/CD, security, automation, and developer enablement while partnering with product teams to improve reliability and scalability.

You’ll lead patching, vulnerability management, and monitoring, with on-call duties and incident response. Strong AWS, Windows, Terraform, and PowerShell skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure (preferably in AWS).
• Experience with patching, vulnerability remediation, and security event handling.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Windows Server environments in AWS (EC2).
• Own patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Monitor security events and remediate risks with security teams.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and scripting.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Support releases and ensure smooth deployments across environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
• Lead or contribute to post-mortems and long-term improvements.
