Job summary

Informa TechTarget in London seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our Windows-based AWS infrastructure. You will drive security, automation, and developer enablement, building CI/CD pipelines and IaC, while partnering with product engineering for reliable deployments.

You’ll lead patching, vulnerability remediation, and incident response, ensuring high availability, monitoring, and scalable operations across environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Proven experience managing Windows Server infrastructure in AWS; patching and security event handling.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production systems.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and support production workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Windows Server environments in AWS (EC2), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Own patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening processes across Windows workloads.
• Monitor and respond to security events, coordinating with security teams to remediate risks.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments.
• Implement and improve IaC using Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop automation using PowerShell to reduce manual overhead.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
• Partner with product engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and support releases.
• Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to incident post-mortems.
