Job summary

Wiltshire Police is seeking a Senior DDaT professional to design and configure low-code service management solutions within Halo ITSM, enhancing officer and staff experiences. You will develop automations, workflows and integrations across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and enterprise systems.

The role focuses on secure, scalable digital services, governance and continual improvement in a multidisciplinary DDaT environment, offering hybrid working and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, configuring and supporting Halo ITSM or similar low-code service management platforms.
• Ability to design workflows, automations and integrations delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of ITSM principles and how tech improves service quality and user experience.
• Experience applying governance, security, privacy and compliance in enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate needs into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and enhance secure, scalable, user-centred solutions within Halo ITSM.
• Develop workflows, automations, service catalogues and digital processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Service Owners, BAs, Architects and teams to translate needs into digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with Halo ITSM, M365 and other enterprise systems.
• Apply secure-by-design principles and governance throughout the lifecycle.
• Support continual improvement of service management processes through automation and data insights.
• Promote reuse of workflows and configuration patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Share knowledge and champion modern low-code development practices.

About the role

As a Senior Developeryou will help shape the future of digital policing by designing,configuringand continuously improving low-code service management solutionswithinthe HaloITSMplatformthat enhance the experience of officers,staffand service users. Working within a multidisciplinaryDDaTenvironment, you will develop automations, workflows,integrationsand digital services that streamline processes, improve serviceperformanceand deliver measurable operational benefits. What you will be doing

• Design, configure and enhance secure,scalableand user-centred solutions within the Halo ITSM platform.
• Develop workflows, automations, service catalogues, self-servicecapabilitiesand digital processes that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Work closely with Service Owners, Business Analysts,Architectsand operational teams to translate user and business needs into effective digital solutions.
• Develop andmaintainintegrations between Halo ITSM, Microsoft 365, PowerPlatformand other enterprise systems.
• Apply secure-by-design principles, governancecontrolsand development standards throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support the continual improvement of service management processes through automation, datainsightand user feedback.
• Promote the reuse of workflows, components,templatesand configuration patterns to accelerate delivery and reduce complexity.
• Contribute to the growth ofDDaTcapability by sharing knowledge, supportingcolleaguesand championing modern low-code development practices.

About you and your experience

• Experience designing, configuring and supporting solutions within Halo ITSM or a comparable low-code service management platform.
• Experience developing workflows, automations, integrations and digital services that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• A strong understanding of IT Service Management principles and how technology can improve service quality, efficiency and user experience.
• Experience applying governance, security, privacy and compliance requirements within enterprise digital platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user needs into practical and effective solutions.
• A passion for innovation, automation, continual improvement and modern digital delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification and evidence of continuous professional development in ITSM, service management platforms or related DDaT technologies.
