Job summary

Frontiers Careers is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to ensure reliable technology and a seamless IT experience for users across London, Madrid, Lausanne, and Warsaw. The role combines hands-on hardware/software support with strong customer service to minimize downtime and boost productivity.

You will deploy and maintain IT equipment, manage inventory, provide end-user training, and contribute to SLA-compliant support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a desktop support or similar role.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
• Familiarity with network configurations and protocols.
• Experience with Windows/macOS/iOS operating systems.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices.
• C1–C2 level English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across onsite and remote users.
• Provide high-quality IT services support and onboarding for local offices.
• Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Input on IT strategies and OKRs related to support efficiency.
• Maintain IT documentation and SOPs; manage access permissions.
• Assist with network connectivity issues and inventory of equipment/licenses.
• Deliver end-user training and support for IT systems and applications.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to improve support processes.
