Job summary

SPIRAC is seeking an engineer to produce general arrangements, detailed designs and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. The role requires 3–5 years of design experience and the ability to work with site surveys and client drawings to create 3D layouts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of design experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Produce 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models.
• Interpret site surveys and client drawings to create 3D layouts.
• Maintain drawing files and records using Autodesk Vault.
• Ability to work to budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Produce general arrangement drawings meeting operability, maintainability and health & safety standards.
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D models for standard items and bespoke fabrications.
• Work with design & project team to deliver multiple contracts.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed.
• Support quality control of output to ensure customer satisfaction.
