Service Service is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to take a lead as a senior technical expert, delivering high-integrity mechanical systems that meet industry standards. The role is hands-on, focusing on mechanical structures, rotating drives, and control systems, with cross-functional collaboration, design reviews, and clear technical reporting to drive innovative solutions forward.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant experience in mechanical design, preferably in complex or safety-critical environments.
• Expertise in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Ability to produce detailed drawings and 3D models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative mechanical designs and drawings using Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Develop and update product documentation, datasheets, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with safety, certification, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with production, operations, and project teams to deliver on time.
• Present progress via design reviews and technical reports.
