Saxton Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager / Senior Design Manager to join a major North American contractor on large design-and-build projects in Toronto. The role leads design teams, ensures compliant and cost-effective design, and coordinates with pre-construction and site delivery teams.

Candidates should have extensive experience on £25m+ projects, Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor exposure, and be willing to relocate to Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience on large scale projects valued at £25m+.
• Experience managing project stakeholders and design teams.
• Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
• Willing and able to relocate to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design policy and procedures.
• Ensure the team is meeting the compliance and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project to ensure compliance and cost-effective design.
• Liaise with pre-construction and site delivery teams.
