Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Design Coordinator to join the Energy Team on the National Grid, Yorkshire Green Project. The role focuses on leading design engineering across multidisciplinary EPC activities and coordinating internal designers, consultants and suppliers to meet programme milestones.

You will ensure BIM/CDE systems are used correctly, review submissions for quality, and collaborate with Surveyors, Contract Managers and Project Managers to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient

Formación

• HNC/HND in civil engineering, construction or similar.
• Professional engineering membership or progress toward it.
• Experience producing engineering designs on Power T&D, renewables or EPC projects.
• Exposure to design management/coordination and construction experience.
• Experience with Autodesk suite including AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• BIM/CDEs and document control systems familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Review submissions for quality and sufficiency as directed.
• Lead design engineering matters on small/medium projects as directed.
• Coordinate design with internal designers, consultants, suppliers and interface contractors.
• Ensure Aconex or client-approved CDE is set up and used correctly.
• Monitor, track and report design progress against the programme.
• Oversee constructability and temporary works considerations.
• Review design progress and detail using CAD/BIM tools.
• Monitor and close out Design NCRs.
• Collaborate with Surveyors, Buyers, Contract Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and Estimators.

Educación

HNC/HND in civil engineering, construction or similar

Engineering Institution membership or progressing towards

Engineering design experience on Power T&D, renewables or EPC projects

Exposure to design management/coordination

Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks)

BIM/CDEs and document control systems familiarity
