Job summary

NICE - National Institute for Health and Care Excellence is recruiting a Senior Delivery Manager in Manchester to oversee a portfolio of digital and technology initiatives. You will lead delivery planning, governance and stakeholder engagement, while line-managing Agile Delivery Managers.

Interviews will be held face to face in our Manchester office. The role involves guiding multi-disciplinary teams, balancing agile and waterfall approaches, and ensuring value-focused outcomes aligned with NICE

Qualifications

Experience delivering large or complex digital and technology initiatives.
Ability to work with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven ability to plan, deliver and govern large programmes.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex digital initiatives from business case to live operation.
Manage delivery risks, dependencies and capacity across multiple workstreams using data-driven insights.
Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, teams and external suppliers.
Provide clear reporting on delivery performance, risks, progress and benefits (e.g., via JIRA).
Support portfolio governance, ensuring work aligns to NICE strategy and standards.
Line-manage and mentor Agile Delivery Managers.
Drive continuous improvement and embed delivery best practices across the organisation.
Demonstrate strong communication and workshop-design skills with senior stakeholders.
