Version 1 in Manchester is seeking experienced Delivery Managers to guide teams on government projects. You will apply agile delivery expertise pragmatically, manage risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

We promote multidisciplinary, T-shaped teams, offer coaching and a dedicated skills academy, and support flexible/remote working. You will build client relationships and strengthen the delivery community.

Qualifications

• Breadth of experience in Agile frameworks across software or service delivery.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong listening and written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing roadmaps.
• Servant leadership style and ability to motivate teams.
• Familiarity with contract frameworks and commercial risk.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery in one or two workstreams, adapting Agile approach to client needs.
• Focus on successful execution, planning, and risk management to keep delivery on track.
• Be a key contact for clients, translating asks into feasible delivery plans.
• Focus on optimizing team culture, performance, and health, supporting individuals and teams to perform at their peak.
• Contribute to building the delivery management community of practice, including coaching other delivery managers.
