Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to lead our agile teams, aligning strategy with value delivery across major business and technical changes. This hybrid role involves three days in the Skipton office and two days from home, working within the Change Delivery Team to optimize delivery performance.

You will coach Delivery Leads and Analysts, drive Lean-Agile practices (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban), remove impediments, and partner with Product, Platform, Architecture and Business

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Lean-Agile delivery and scaled agile environments (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban).
• Proven ability to coach Delivery Leads, Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
• Experience delivering complex tech initiatives across software, DevOps and business change.
• Analytical, data-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile Service Delivery ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
• Coach and develop Delivery Leads and Analysts, driving performance and growth.
• Drive continuous improvement across the ART to improve delivery flow and agile maturity.
• Remove impediments and enable cross-team collaboration to achieve business and tech outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Platform, Architecture and Business stakeholders to shape priorities and backlogs.
• Monitor and report delivery progress, risks, dependencies, milestones, governance and compliance.
