Job summary

Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Senior Delivery Lead to drive complex transformation at scale and elevate agile delivery across our enterprise. You’ll work in a hybrid fashion, three days in Skipton and two days from home, guiding major technology change programs and delivery governance.

You’ll lead PI Planning, coordinate cross-functional teams, and partner with Architecture, Engineering and Product leads to deliver faster, simpler customer experiences for our members.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large-scale technology change and transformation programmes.
• Deep expertise in Agile delivery, DevOps, SDLC and delivery management.
• Proven ability to work across Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Agile Release Trains.
• Experience in leading PI Planning, technical workshops and delivery ceremonies.
• Strong problem-solving with platform migrations, cloud adoption and modernization.
• Influential leader with strong stakeholder management and agile maturity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major technology change initiatives across platforms, infrastructure and software.
• Select and apply the most effective delivery approach (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid).
• Partner with Architecture, Engineering, Product and Platform Leads to align plans and dependencies.
• Drive PI Planning, sprint coordination, delivery ceremonies and planning workshops.
• Maintain robust delivery governance and visibility of risks, dependencies and timelines.
• Champion Agile, DevOps, automation and continuous improvement.
• Advise technology leaders on delivery strategy, planning and risk management.
