Job summary

Skipton Building Society is hiring a Senior Delivery Manager to lead our agile teams of teams, driving strategic alignment and the seamless flow of value across mission-critical change.

You will join the Change Delivery Team, coaching Delivery Leads and Analysts while partnering with Product, Platform and Architecture to shape priorities. The role operates in a hybrid model with three days in Skipton and two remote days.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership coaching and line-management of Delivery Leads and hybrid teams
• Deep expertise in Lean-Agile delivery; hands-on senior delivery leadership in scaled agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills across organisational levels
• Experience delivering complex technology initiatives (software, infrastructure, DevOps, business transformation)
• Ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day delivery and provide clear direction
• Analytical, data-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Experience leading large-scale change in regulated sectors (financial services advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Agile Service Delivery ceremonies (PI Planning, ART Syncs, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt)
• Coach and develop Delivery Leads and Analysts; drive performance and career growth
• Drive continuous improvement across the ART to improve delivery flow and Agile maturity
• Remove impediments and enable cross-team collaboration to achieve business and technology outcomes
• Partner with Product, Platform, Architecture and Business stakeholders to shape priorities and optimise backlogs
• Monitor and report delivery progress, risks, dependencies, milestones, governance and compliance
• Champion a culture of learning, innovation and organisational change for scaled agile practices
