Job summary

Howden is seeking a Senior Delegated Authority Technician to support post-placement processing for Delegated Authority placements within Bowood & Programs. You will ensure accurate premium, claims and bordereau handling while collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

You will drive service excellence, monitor workloads, manage risks and help implement new systems. The role offers hybrid working in the London area and progression within a global reinsurance broker.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with delegated authority, binder, MGA or insurance operations.
• Strong understanding of premium and claims bordereau processing.
• Experience with offshore or outsourced operations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Desirable London Market and Lloyd's exposure.
• Knowledge of OpenTWINS, GlobalXB, Brokasure or similar market systems.
• Experience of workflow and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support processing activities across Bowood & Programs. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of premium, claims and bordereau transactions.
• Drive high levels of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor workloads and allocate resources effectively to meet business demands.
• Manage operational risks and escalation points relating to processing activities.
• Support the development of the offshore processing resources. Ensure effective workflow management between onshore and offshore team members.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership.
• Support strategic business initiatives and operational projects. Ensure compliance with regulatory, Lloyd's, carrier and internal governance requirements.
